Churchyard Maintenance

We are pleased to say that due to the continuing efforts of Mr.Scruton and J&T Backhouse, our churchyard continues to be a place of joy, tranquillity and reflection. People come from miles around to enjoy our displays of spring flowers. We are also committed to wildlife, so you will find plenty of bird and bat boxes in the churchyard - if however things are not what you would have them be, then please speak directly to the Vicar.

Church Cleaning Team

At St Thomas ? Becket we are extremely fortunate to have a conscientious and loyal team who take it in turns to do the weekly cleaning of the Church. We extend to them our heartfelt thanks for all their hard work which is very much appreciated.

Our Spring Clean takes place on Saturday, 4 April. We ask as many people as possible to assist us with this task. We commence at 9.30am and usually finish at noon. If you are able to come along please bring cleaning materials with you. The more helpers we have the sooner the job is finished! The Church is once again open during the day and we do have many visitors to the Church – so the Spring Clean is important.
