The overall objective of Hampsthwaite Church Committee is to ensure that our church is welcoming and friendly, our services are varied and inclusive, and our stewardship of the building and grounds ensures a place of worship for generations to come.

We meet quarterly in the Church Room and our Committee is made up as follows:

Mission is our main focus and is discussed at each quarterly meeting, reviewing services and activities, giving thoughts to new ideas, and putting plans into action. We feel that this focus has revitalised not only the Committee but, hopefully, the congregation and the wider village which we hope to reach.

Being an old church dating back to the ??th century, the repair and upkeep of both the fabric of the building and the extensive grounds continue to challenge the Committee. Finances play a major part in this and the Treasurer keeps an eagle eye on the books ensuring that our ever increasing Share is paid, and budgets deployed to the various elements within the Church . The coffers are enhanced by the energy and commitment of the Fund Raising Committee who work energetically and tirelessly arranging events and activities.
